[edit] Overview

This document will explain how to permanently delete a Category using InfernoCMS. Once a Category has been deleted there is no method of restoring it back again.

[edit] Requirements

• An internet connection
• You have your web administration panel address
• Your username and password

[edit] Assumes

• www.example.com is your website address
• That there are no Articles or sub-categories in the Category you are attempting to delete

[edit] Instructions

• Log-in to your InfernoCMS administration panel
• Click on Categories on the left hand menu
• Click on the green LED to disable it on the site temporarily
• Once it has been disabled you can now click on delete to permanently delete the Category
• Confirm that you wish to proceed
